A thief is arrested after returning to a Salina business that he allegedly shoplifted from last week.

Last Friday, Salina Police released a Crimestoppers video of a suspect who is accused of removing multiple phones and tablet computers from a kiosk inside Sam’s Club, 2919 Market Place.

Police say staff at Sam’s Club recognized the suspect back in the store on Tuesday morning and called police.

Officers arrested 45-year-old Manuel Maldonado of Wichita a short time later.

He is now facing felony theft charges and damage to property for breaking the floor display.

Total loss and damage from a theft on April 18th is listed at $10,241.
