Zoo To Ring In New Year

Kids looking for an exciting new way to ring in the New Year can find it at Rolling Hills Zoo. On December 31st, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., children ages 3 – 12 can ring in 2016 during the Noon Year’s Eve Party in the conference center at Rolling Hills Zoo.

During this kid-centered event kids will be able to create animal enrichments for the residents of Rolling Hills Zoo and have an opportunity to interact with the animals during critter encounters.

The party continues as kids dine on pizza, cookies and punch and then let loose with their very own dance party.

“We love combining educational opportunities in a fun engaging atmosphere where kids can have fun and celebrate new beginnings,” shared Amy Barnhill, RHZ Education Director.

The registration fee per child for Noon Year’s Eve is $20. To register go online to www.rollinghillszoo.org or call 785-827-9488 ext. 117.
