Youth Day at Coyote Football and Volleyball Saturday

Kansas Wesleyan is offering free admission to those 12 and under to attend its volleyball and football games on Saturday. Plus, those purchasing tickets to the volleyball match will be admitted free to the football game. Adult tickets are $8 for either venue; $5 for seniors. Those older than 12 but not yet 18 can purchase tickets for $2.

“College athletics is a great way to get a young student on a college campus,” said director of athletics Mike Hermann. “With football returning to campus, this gives us a terrific chance to feature two marquee sports in one afternoon and invite the Salina community to make it a family activity.”

Kansas Wesleyan will be hosting a Kids Zone with bounce houses, Pop-A-Shot and other activities from 1-3 pm outside the Student Activities Center.

The volleyball match against Saint Mary will begin at 1 pm at Mabee Arena. The defending KCAC champion, Kansas Wesleyan is currently 8-1 in league play. Fans purchasing tickets for the volleyball match will be admitted free into the football game. The #19 ranked Coyote football team will host Friends at 3 pm at the Graves Family Sports Complex. Four YMCA youth football teams will be playing at halftime of the football contest.
