A man accused of killing and wounding people in Mississippi, New Mexico and Kansas in February has waived a hearing.

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) – A 33-year-old Wichita woman charged in the sex trafficking of a 17-year-old girl has pleaded guilty in federal court.

The Wichita Eagle reports that Natasha Harper pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of transporting a minor across state lines for the purpose of prostitution. Prosecutors say that Harper transported the girl from Kansas to Michigan, Illinois and Iowa and back to Kansas so the girl could in engage in sex acts for money.

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said that Harper advertised the girl’s services on the Internet and Harper received some of the money.
