A fund has been established to help a single mother who lost everything when her home was destroyed by a fire last week.
On Wednesday a fire destroyed a mobile home on N. 13th Street. A 3-year-old boy was killed in that fire, and two siblings and his grandmother were hurt.
That fire spread to two other homes as well. It destroyed one of the other homes, and damaged one of them.
Margarita Garay’s home was one of those destroyed in the fire.
Margarita is a single mother with a teenage son. She needs donations because she lost everything.
A generous person donated another mobile home but needs materials to make it safe to live in and have it to code. Any donations would be helpful.
Volunteers are working to help her have a home again.
