A Salina woman who was injured in a two vehicle crash dies at the hospital.

According to Police Captain Mike Sweeney, 88-year-old Lila Breault died Thursday morning at Salina Regional Health Center.

On Tuesday afternoon, Breault was driving southbound on Roach Street in a 1990 Buick Century, when for an unknown reason her car collided with a pickup that was also southbound.

After sideswiping the truck, Breault crossed E. Republic and hit a tree.

Police say the impact caused heavy damage to the front end of the car.

The police report indicates she was wearing her seatbelt.

The crash happened at 3:42pm Tuesday.
