A Salina woman is jailed on theft and forgery charges.

Police arrested 24-year-old Lynnea Cook on Wednesday, after she allegedly removed a personal check from the home of Melvin Von Fang back on March 16th.

Police say the two are acquaintances and the woman cashed the check for $589 at Speedy Cash at 1220 W. Crawford that same day.
