Woman Charged with Burglary and Theft

A Salina woman who was wanted an a warrant for a residential burglary is arrested for shoplifting.

Police say 19-year-old Lindsey Whisenhunt was stopped at Wal-Mart by loss protection staff for allegedly taking a pair of underwear, 3 pair of shorts and 5 tops on Thursday afternoon without paying for the merchandise .

Police say she was also wanted in connection to a burglary and theft case that occurred on April 4th in a Salina home in the 200 block of W. Crawford.

Police allege she entered the home of an acquaintance that day and took a PlayStation 3 console valued at $200.
