Woman Bilked in Lottery Scam

A Salina woman has been bilked in a telephone lottery scam.

Police say that 59-year-old woman was called on Friday and was told she had won a $2.5 million dollar Jamaican Lottery.

She was told that an initial $100 fee was needed.  After wiring the money through Western Union, she received another call, asking for another $100, which she sent.

The woman discovered that it was a scam when a third request money for money was made.

Total loss is $200.
