Man Arrested After Woman Beaten, Strangled

An incident in which a woman was beaten and strangled lead to the arrest of a Salina man.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that 32-year-old David Miller was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the incident, which happened on Monday.

Miller is alleged to have beaten, and strangled, a female acquaintance inside a central Salina home. The woman sustained bruises to her face, head, and forearm. She was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center where she was treated and released.

Miller was arrested Wednesday night and booked into the Saline County Jail on charges that could include aggravated battery and making criminal threats.
