A Salina woman was taken into custody after allegedly breaking another woman’s eyeglasses on Tuesday night.

Police arrested 20-year-old Sandther Phanthakeo at her home after officers learned she had assaulted a 20-year-old female victim.

Police say Phanthakeo entered the woman’s home, striking her on the face, breaking her glasses before leaving the house with her iPhone 5.

EMS treated the victim at the scene for a swollen left eye but she refused to be taken to the hospital.

Phanthakeo is facing multiple charges that include aggravated robbery, theft and battery.

Police say the two women know each other.
