An employee is arrested for allegedly embezzling from the Salina retail store she worked for.

Salina Police say that 50-year-old Verna Fowler was arrested on Thursday. She is accused of embezzling $1,150 from Target, 2939 Market Place.

Police allege that Fowler stole money over a period of time, between August 3rd and August 28th, from the store’s change fund. They say she was caught on video.

Fowler could face charges that include felony theft.
