Jeff Garretson - August 23, 2013 10:30 am

Smash and grab thieves hit a Salina pharmacy.

Salina Police are reviewing video from Friday morning’s burglary at B & K Prescription Shop, 601 E. Iron.

Officers responded to an alarm at 4:04am, after two suspects shattered a front window on the business and entered the store. Police say a brick and a rock were found inside.

The two suspects, believed to be two white males wearing bandanas over their faces stole 2 bottles of cough syrup. The stolen Promethazine cough medicine is valued at $40.

Total loss and damage is listed at $490.

Wow this place has been hit before which would tell any police chief to keep a closer eye on the business. 404am and no one can get there to catch these guys???? No traffic blocks from the police station. Maybe the city manager should hire one of them as the next police chief.
