Wichita Man Charged with Murder

A Wichita, Kansas, man has been sentenced to a year and a half in federal prison on prostitution-related charges connected to a sting operation targeting massage parlors.
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) – A man has been charged in the death of a 17-year-old Wichita boy who was shot in the head at a birthday party.
Forty-one-year-old Grover James is charged with first-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Authorities say Leon McClennon died in May in the basement of Parrot-fa-Nalia Unique Boutique.
Police say McClennon was not involved in the argument that led to the shooting.
