Western Kansas Crash Sends Salina Man To Hospital

Two people were hurt, including a man from Salina, in a crash late Saturday night in Western Kansas.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 27 year-old Alexis L. Snyder of Montezuma was driving a 2003 Toyota Tundra. She turned east from U.S. 183 Highway onto East Plains Road.

Snyder lost control of the vehicle, and it rolled multiple times. It came to rest in a ditch, on its top.

Snyder was not hurt, but two passengers were transported to the hospital. They are identified as 24-year-old Kyle R Werner of Salina and 22-year-old Ethan James Morgan from Dickinson, North Dakota.

Troopers say that no one in the vehicle was buckled up.

The crash happened just before 10:30 Saturday night in Phillips county, on East Plains Road near the junction with U.S. 183 Highway.
