Walmart Victim to Theft

Salina police are investigating a theft that happened Sunday morning at Walmart at 2900 S. 9th Street.

Two security cameras, two HDTV’s, a food dehydrator, a juicer and comforter set were stolen for a total loss of $1,210.

Police do have a known suspect, and continue to investigate the incident.

Well they deserve it as they stop us honest shoppers from leaving if we have one thing in our carriage like cat food or dog food and demand to see our receipt. But not doing the same with someone reeling out with tvs and camera’s seems to me to be discriminatory to the rest of us shoppers and management needs to check everyone or no one. Plus they need to have larger bags to put items in that are purchased by honest law biding citizens and not waste our time when leaving.
