A suspected shoplifter is caught on video.

According to Salina Police, on Monday of this week a white male in a blue colored T-shirt was suspected of stealing approximately $360 worth of items from Target, 2939 Market Place. It is unknown if the suspect seen leaving with him is involved.

If you can identify the man in the video, or if you have any information concerning who committed this crime, call Crimestoppers at 825-TIPS, text SATIPS to CRIMES (274637), or visit Salina Police Department and follow the Crimestoppers link to submit a web tip.

You may receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 and you are not required to give your name.

Here we go with that crimestoppers crap again. They pay out very little nothing close to a grand. The fact that you are not required to give your name is a farse as every incoming call has caller id plus other survellience to id the caller. What I would like to know out of all the people caught on video’s stealing how many of them have actually been caught and proscecuted? The city manager ought to be able to tell us those figures.
