A suspect points a knife at a man after allegedly breaking into his pickup.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, 31-year-old Cody Lott was arrested on Sunday after he stole a pack of cigarettes and a smart phone from a 2005 Ford Ranger that was parked in front of Dominos Pizza on South 9th.

Police say the victim saw Lott and followed him to Family Video’s parking lot at 2018 S. 9th and confronted him. The victim told officers that Lott held the cigarettes in his hand with a knife and told him, “come get them.”

Police found Lott a short time later at about 8:50pm on the east side of Kraft Manor and arrested him on charges that include vehicle burglary and aggravated assault.
