Portions of a couple of roads in Saline County will be temporarily closed Monday.

According to the county, sections of two Saline County roads will be closed to through traffic on Monday morning, July 14th, to permit the application of polymer overlays on bridge decks. The sections of road are as follows:

1. Eff Creek Road from Paulsen Road to Armstrong Road (the bridge is over Mulberry Creek 1.0 mile north of Armstrong Road)

2. Brookville Road from Watkins Road to Pleasant Hill Road (the bridge is over Mulberry Creek 0.4 mile south of Watkins Road)

Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within each section of closed road at all times but only from the sides of the bridges upon which the property lies. Work on all three of these bridges is anticipated to be completed by the end of Tuesday, July 15th.
