Police are looking for two Hispanic male suspects after a man fought back against his assailants.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that officers met the 18-year-old male victim at the hospital at about 10pm on Saturday night after an incident near Bond and Crawford Street.

The victim told police he was walking with headphones on when the two suspects approached and hit him on the head with a stick.

They both ran away when the victim punched back.

The victim was treated at Salina Regional Health Center for a cut on his head.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic males, one tall, one short. Police say both were wearing sunglasses and red bandannas over their faces to hide their identities.

When you can’t walk down Santa Fe because of illegal Mexicans its time to form armed neighborhood watch and take care of these Mexican thugs.

Julian hanson, who said they were illegals? Or that what Donald trump has you believing, that every Mexican is illegal? Was it wrong what they did? Yes, but who are you to assume that they are illegal?

This town is full of them. But if they are not illegal does not matter. Next time they might attack someone carrying and that will be the end for these thugs. I believe the police should be putting more time in breaking up the gangs in town and going after the illegals instead of worrying about seat belt usage or drunks that they waste more time on than is needed.
