A Salina man writes a check for $4,000 to a group now charged with blackmail.

The 57-year-old victim told police that two men and one woman threated to tell authorities that he sexually assaulted the woman back in September of 2014. Police have been investigating the false claims and arrested 39-year-old Jason Wooster of Salina on Thursday.

Leah Lara, 31 and Joshua Moore, 39 who were both serving sentences in the Saline County Jail, have also been charged with blackmail in the case.
