Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

KSAL Staff - November 16, 2015 11:32 am

An Arkansas man is in jail after a routine traffic stop led to a find of a quarter pound of marijuana from Colorado.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Ponch Saeyiem of Jonesboro, Arkansas was stopped at milepost 261 on I-70 for a unlawful lane change. A drug dog picked up a positive read on the car. During a search  deputies found a variety of different labeled bags for marijuana.

Saeyiem could face charges that include the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and lack of a drug tax stamp.
