KSAL Staff - October 9, 2013 4:20 pm

Investigators from the Saline County Sheriff's Office want to speak with two people as an investigation into a fatal hit and run accident continues.

The  Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of some welding equipment from a work truck.

Deputies were checking the parking lot at the Wild Wild West Club on Old 40 Highway around 11:30pm Tuesday night and noticed a welding truck in the lot with an open tool box and hoses strewn on the ground.

Deputies contacted the owner of vehicle, Jacob Christian of Hutchinson inside the establishment and accompanied him back to the truck.

After a quick inventory he told officers that 2, Victor welding torches were missing and that a DeWalt grinder was also gone.

Total loss is listed at $1,130.

LOL your question sounds like a polish joke that used to go around. Seems like the sheriff’s department is spending alot of time in that particulate area.
