Threats with Pocket Knife Lead to Arrest

KSAL Staff - January 28, 2015 11:20 am

A student at Salina South High School is facing assault charges after allegedly pointing a knife at a female student.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that 17-year-old Bradford Settle is facing charges of aggravated assault for two incidents that occurred in a classroom setting.

Police say last Friday, Settle pointed a pocket knife at a 17-year-old girl’s stomach. On Monday he allegedly pointed the blade at her neck.

Settle was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Junction City.
