Threats Made with Tire Irons, Box Cutter

Salina Police make two arrests after threats were made with a box cutter.

Police arrested 20-year-old David Ojeda and 16-year-old Dalton Nelson, both of Salina after an incident at an apartment at 737 Fairdale.

Police say a fight began when Ojeda and Nelson entered the home uninvited. They left, only to return a short time later wielding tire irons.

Five witnesses inside the apartment told officers that Ojeda then threatened the crowd with a box cutter and the two left again taking a $230 skateboard with them.

Police found the pair a short time later in the 2100 block of Fairdale Court and took them into custody.

Police say the two suspects and group inside the apartment are all acquainted.
