Teen Killed In Motorcycle Crash

A motorcycle rider is killed when he skids in front of a car and is hit late Friday night.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Ethan Carroll of Council Grove was riding a 2001 Triumph motorcycle east on U.S. 56 Highway. He lost control and laid the motorcycle over onto its side,. The motorcycle slid into the westbound lane in front of an oncoming car and was struck.

Carroll, who was wearing a helmet, was killed in the crash. 

The driver of the car,18-year-old Amanda Mae Wilson of Wichita, was transported to the hospital with possible injuries. A passenger was not hurt. Both were buckled up.

The crash happened at 7:06 Friday evening 5.5 miles east of Herington on U.S. 56 Highway in Morris County.

Once again if you want to use a seatbelt in a car it should be your choice and if you want to ride a dangerous motorcycle that should be your choice and whatever happens just happens.
