Suspects Sought in Home Burglary

KSAL Staff - August 21, 2014 11:36 am

Salina Police are looking for two suspects who did a home flooring demonstration – while a third person allegedly stole cash from a bedroom.

Police report a white male with a scruffy white beard in his 60’s or 70’s, along with a white male in his late teens knocked on a door in the 2000 block of Robin Road around 3pm Tuesday.

The two had a roll of linoleum and convinced the residents to let them in to display the flooring.

About 30-minutes later the two suspects rolled up the linoleum and left.

The homeowner then noticed someone had gone through an adjacent room and removed $200 in cash.
