A Salina man is charged with arson after a trailer fire.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, Salina Police and the Salina Fire Department responded to a fire at 1221 N. 3rd, Tuesday evening at 9:30pm.

After interviewing the home’s occupant, police arrested 22-year-old Robert Fischer, on 1 count of arson.

Police say the blaze was started inside a bedroom. Damage is estimated at about $3,000.

Police notified the owner of the trailer who lives in Greeley, Colorado about the incident. Police say she is also a relative of Fischer.
