Salina Police are searching for a known male suspect who allegedly held a knife to a young woman’s throat.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, an argument turned violent in a room at the Airliner Motel, 781 N. Broadway on Tuesday night around 8:15pm.

The late-teens victim told police the man attempted to strangle her then threatened her life by holding a knife to her throat.

The victim contacted police on Thursday about the incident.
