A Herington woman has been arrested for allegedly scamming a Salina bank out of over $4,700.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that 30-year-old Francesca Garcia-Marrero of Herington was arrested on a warrant Monday.
Garcia-Marrero is accused of depositing funds using fraudulent checks at First Bank Kansas 235 S. Santa Fe, and then immediately withdrawing cash. She did this seven times between July 16th and September 29th, and withdrew $4,708 in cash.
Garcia-Marrero could face charges that include felony theft.
