UPDATE: The Kansas Highway Patrol late Thursday afternoon was investigating an injury accident involving a school bus in Ottawa County.
According to the agency, the crash took place east of Highway 81, east of the city of Minneapolis.
Officials tell KSAL News that a small school bus carrying high school students hit a guardrail at around 3:00. Four students were injured when they were tossed around inside the bus.
The students were transported by EMS to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, and their parents were notified.
