A store video leads to the arrest of a Salina woman for allegedly stealing a purse.

Salina Police Captain Chris Trochek says that a purse was stolen from a cart at Walmart late last week. Contents of the purse included $3,000 in cash.

Trochek says that a suspect vehicle, and a suspect, were identified by using store surveillance video.

Police arrested 58-year-old Molly Petersen in connection with the case on Tuesday. She could face charges that include felony theft.

Trochek says that the $3,000 in cash that was in the purse was not recovered.
