Salina Police

Police arrest a suspect tied to three separate theft cases at Wal-Mart.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, police arrested 21-year-old Logan Jones, of Salina on Saturday night, after an investigation revealed the Wal-Mart employee was tied to items stolen from the secure area of the store.

Police say back on September 29th, Jones allegedly stole 2 Apple iPads, and also left the store with 2 Televisions on October 5th.

Investigators were able to link video taken on Saturday of Jones allegedly removing 2 Apple iPads and a Surface tablet computer – to the other crimes.

The items are valued at nearly $3,000.

Walmart got rid of their security team and they have been paying the price. The crooks are stealing more then the cost of security people.

Fuchs Mi has finally proven that he/she asbsolutely doesn’t have a clue!! I happen to know for a fact that the Salina Walmart has an Asset Protection Manager and has two associates on her team and they were the ones that caught the guy or maybe you didn’t see the video that they turned over to the Salina PD of the guy walking out of the backroom with the TV’s!! The SPD gets that video directly from the Asset Protection Manager!! EVERY WALMART HAS A SALARY BASED ASSET PROTECTION MANAGER AND A TEAM WORKING DIRECTLY UNDER THAT MANAGER!! The Salina Walmart has at least 3 working in that department at the present time!! If it was not for them, this man would not have been caught!! In fact, I can tell you that they were present when he was apprehended by an SPD office (let’s just say that I have a well-informed family member)!! So, do KSAL and all of us a favor and at least TRY and get your facts straight before spewing your misinformation and garbage all over this website!! KSAL needs to have a policy of removing comments that are both false and untrue in nature!! Fuchs Mi makes a regular habit of this!!!
