A truck reported stolen in Abilene is recovered in Saline County.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that deputies located the abandoned 1997 Chevy Silverado valued at $3,000 northeast of Salina in the 5300 block of N. Woodward Road on Saturday.

Deputies say owner, Scott Leister picked up the vehicle from the officers and detailed several items that had been stolen from his vehicle including a truck bed tool box, floor jack, jumper cables and hand winch strap.

Total loss is listed at $290.
