Police arrest a Salina man on a parole violation and discovered the vehicle he was driving – was reported stolen in Emporia.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that officers arrested 52-year-old Daniel Young on Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Dillons Supermarket at 1235E. Cloud.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered the 1995 Chevy S-10 pickup he was driving had been reported stolen by Double D Mowing in Emporia, Kansas.

The truck is valued at $1,500.

Young is now facing charges that include possession of stolen property.
