Stolen Gun Arrest

A Salina man was arrested with a stolen gun outside Tony’s Pizza on Saturday night.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that staff at Tony’s, 3019 Scanlan contacted authorities when they learned that their employee, 20-year-old Jackson Goth was allegedly inside the facility with a handgun.

Company policy does not allow weapons inside the facility.

Police arrived and were looking inside the building when they discovered he was in the parking lot.

A search revealed Goth had a snub nose .38 caliber revolver that was reported stolen from McPherson County in April of 2014.

Officers also found him in possession of personal use meth.

Goth is now facing charges of theft and possession of a stimulant.
