Stolen Checks Itself and Wrecks Itself

KSAL Staff - January 29, 2016 10:39 am

A Salina man is victim to theft as checks were stolen out of his home on the 1400 block of East Iron, and some checks have already been forged.

Three checks have been deposited and some of the amount withdrawn at First Bank Kansas in Central Mall at 2259 South Ninth Street. The total loss currently sits at $1,387. The checks have been written out to an individual, but the name of that individual has not been released yet.

No it does not probably written by the janitor. Now within a week or so there have been two stories about checks and First Bank Kansas. Seems that bank has some serious problems.
