A Salina man is arrested after allegedly swinging a chain at a woman.

Officers were called to 100 block of S. 10th on Friday night just before 10:30pm – to the report of a man threatening a woman with a chain.

Police arrested 32 -year-old Jerry J.Huckabey on assault charges.

Officers reported that Huckabey swung a logging chain at a 37-year-old woman he saw near his house after discovering his bicycle had been stolen.

The woman was not charged in the case.
