A standoff in a McPherson County community ended Wednesday evening when a man came out of a house and surrendered.

Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the incident  in the McPherson County community of Roxbury.

Law enforcement began responding at around 4:00 in the afternoon to reports of gunshots inside a home. Multiple officers from McPherson County law enforcement and the Kansas Highway Patrol were all on the scene.

The incident ended when a man surrendered.
