Stockade Shut Down in Topeka

The Salina Stockade dropped its series finale in Topeka on Sunday night, falling to the host Train Robbers 7-3.

Topeka used a five-run bottom of the third to break the game open. All five runs scored with two outs in the inning.

Nick Wagner and Jean Carlos Peralta each had three hits for the Stockade.

Skyler Fuss took the loss, giving up seven runs, only two were earned, on nine hits while walking none and striking out four over six and one-third innings.

The Stockade (13-17 Pecos League) is off until Thursday when they host Great Bend at Dean Evans Stadium.
