Southeast Baseball Sweeps Minneapolis

The Southeast of Saline baseball team kept its undefeated record thanks to a pair of wins over Minneapolis on Thursday. The Trojans won game one 13-9 and took game two 8-3.
In game one, the Trojans answered a seven-run sixth by Minneapolis with a four-run seventh. Bailey Ramsey had a two-RBI single in the inning for the Trojans.
Jackson Montgomery was the winner, pitching just a third of an inning. Jacob Pengra and Ramsey both had three hits in the game.
In the nightcap, three different pitchers limited Minneapolis to just four hits as the Trojans picked up the 8-3 win. Dan Sparacino was the winner for Southeast.
Dane Long had two hits and two RBI for the Trojans.
Southeast is now 12-0 and 6-0 in NCAA play. The Trojans face Concordia for a doubleheader at Wichita’s Lawrence Dumont Stadium on Friday.
