Sacred Heart Splits Matches at Republic County

The Sacred Heart volleyball team split its matches on Tuesday at Republic County.

The Knights won the first match against the Buffaloes 25-22, 25-7, before losing the second match 25-22, 17-25, 25-23.

Maddie Donatell had eight service points, four assists and two digs. Maggie Doll had 13 assists, nine kills and five digs. Haley Rapp picked up 23 kills, nine points, six blocks and three digs. MacKenzie Kack had seven kills, six block and three digs. Sarah Dix added 28 assists and 18 points. Cara Donley had nine kills, six points and three digs. Megan Stein had eight points and seven digs. Jacey Goetz had 12 assists and seven points.

The Knights are 19-9 overall and 5-3 in the NCAA. They play in the Council Grove tournament on Saturday.
