The Sacred Heart Knights have made the play-offs for the fifth consecutive year with a 35-0 win at Moundridge.

The Sacred Heart Knights have made the play-offs for the fifth consecutive year with a 35-0 win at Moundridge.

The Sacred Heart softball team opened North Central Activities Association play with a split against Minneapolis, losing game one 12-9, but taking the second game 17-3 in five innings.

In the first game, Minneapolis scored six runs in the sixth inning to secure the victory. The Knights issued eight walks and committed five errors in the 12-9 loss.

In game two, the Knights rallied from an early 2-0 deficit by scoring 10 runs in the bottom of the first, using seven hits and four errors to get on the board in a big way.

Makenzie Kack and Megan Stein each had six hits in the doubleheader.

The Knights are 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the NCAA.
