Sacred Heart trailed by as many as 12 points early in the second quarter, but a 7-0 run cut the deficit to 16-11. The Lady Trojans answered and took a 24-17 lead into the locker room at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Lady Knights closed the gap to two points at 28-26, but the Lady Trojans answered with a 10-0 run to quickly extend the lead to double figures for the second time. Sacred Heart cut the lead back down to nine points, but after three quarters, Southeast of Saline led 40-31. Early in the fourth quarter, the Lady Trojans built their biggest lead at 45-31, but the Lady Knights refused to go down quietly. Sacred Heart cut the deficit all the down to one point twice late in the game. The Lady Knights trailed 54-53 and 56-55, but that was as close as they could get. Three late free throws allowed Southeast of Saline to escape with a four-point substate win.
