The Sacred Heart Knights have made the play-offs for the fifth consecutive year with a 35-0 win at Moundridge.

The Sacred Heart Knights have made the play-offs for the fifth consecutive year with a 35-0 win at Moundridge.

The Sacred Heart baseball team split its Monday doubleheader at Concordia, taking game one 7-2 and losing game two 6-5.

In the opener, Cedric Salas opened the game with three innings on the mound, striking out and walking one. Justin McCartney finished out the game with four innings. McCartney struck out five and walked two.

Drew Gormley led the Knights at the plate, going two-for-four with an RBI.

In game two, the Knights committed three errors which led to three unearned runs. Jordan McMillian was charged with the loss, pitching four innings. He struck out five and walked four.

Tate Richards had a pair of doubles, while Elijah Walters had two RBI.

The Knights are 2-4 and visit Russell on Friday.
