Central Swimmers Third at Home Meet

The Salina Central girls swimming team finished third during its home meet on Thursday at the USD 305 pool at Salina South.
Sarah Schulte, Hannah Schulte, Emily Ewing and Paige Johnson teamed up to win the 200-yard medley relay in 2:02.56. Jordan Graves teamed up with Sarah Schulte, Ewing and Johnson to win the 400 freestyle relay in 4:06.32.
Sarah Schulte also won the 100 backstroke in 1:10.58 and Johnson took the 100 freestyle in 59.10.
Salina South had only five swimmers competing in the meet due to a scheduling conflict with the state music festival.
