Bombers Head Coach Resigns

Salina Bombers Head Coach Bob Frey has resigned.

According to the organization, Frey has accepted a coaching position in the St. Louis area.

Frey informed the ownership group late last week, and the Salina Bombers players on Tuesday evening.

Bob Frey accumulated a record of 14 and 4 in his two years as head coach, and achieved Coach of the Year in 2013.

Assistant coach Eric Clayton has been promoted to head coach.
Clayton has been with the Salina Bombers over the past two years as Defensive Coordinator. The remainder of the coaching staff will remain intact, as the team prepares for the Kansas Koyotes game on March 23rd in Topeka.

The Bombers next home game is April 12th against the Dodge City Law at the Salina Bicentennial Center.
