Shot Fired After Alleged Robbery

Salina Police are investigating an alleged robbery in which a handgun was reported to be stolen, and a shot was fired.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that at around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to 917 N. 13th Street #42 to a report of possible shots fired.

Officers found that one round had been fired into the home.

A woman reports that she was inside the home when an unknown black male entered, and robbed her of a 9 mm handgun. The suspect then allegedly fired one round from the gun into the house as he was outside leaving.

No one was hit by the bullet.

The gun is valued at $700.

An investigation is still continuing,
