Forecasters are cautioning of the possibility for dangerous severe weather late Friday afternoon into Friday night.

According to the National Weather Service, sever weather is possible across a large portion of Kansas.

The greatest coverage of storms is expected to be across Central and Northeast Kansas, with more isolated storms further south into South Central Kansas. Supercell type storms are possible.

The primary threats include very large hail up to tennis ball size, damaging wind, and tornadoes.
