Seven Students Arrested In Drug Case

Seven Fort Hays State University students were arrested Wednesday as part of a months-long drug investigation.

According to a release from the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation lasted five months. The seven students are accused of being responsible for the distribution of marijuana, cocaine, prescription pills, LSD, and Mollies.

The sheriff’s office did released the names of the students, pending formal charges by the Ellis County Attorney.

Officers from the Ellis County Drug Enforcement Unit, Ellis County Sheriff’s Department, Hays Police Department, and Fort Hays State University Police Department made the arrests on Wednesday.
